ISKCON and the wider Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition observe Ekadashi (एकादशी), the eleventh lunar day dedicated to Lord Vishnu, occasionally on a different calendar day than other traditions.
The Vaishnava calendar sometimes shifts the observed Ekadashi day when the tithi prevailing at sunrise differs from the Smarta tradition's convention — a genuinely contested distinction across schools of thought.
Grains, beans, and certain vegetables (onion, garlic) are avoided, per standard Ekadashi fasting rules. Note: the dates below use the same tithi calculation as the standard Ekadashi page — the Vaishnava/Smarta day-shift distinction is not modeled, so please cross-check with your local ISKCON temple's calendar for exact observance.
