Dwadashi (द्वादशी) is the twelfth lunar day of both the Shukla and Krishna Pakshas. It falls immediately after Ekadashi and is when most Ekadashi fasts are traditionally broken (Parana).
Dwadashi is considered auspicious for Vishnu worship and for concluding the previous day's Ekadashi fast within the prescribed Parana window.
Breaking an Ekadashi fast after the prescribed Parana window, or before sunrise, is considered inauspicious.
